  • Upper respiratory tract infections: 1 to 2 g per day, divided into several intakes
  • Infections of the lower respiratory tract: 2 to 3 g per day, divided into several doses
  • Infections of the gastrointestinal system: 2 to 3 g per day, to be divided into several intakes
  • Urinary tract infections: 1 to 3 g per day, to be divided into several doses
  • Tonsillitis: 50 mg / kg / day in 2 doses
  • Prophylaxis of endocarditis: 50 mg amoxicillin / kg body weight (3 g), administered as a single dose one hour before surgery
  • Acute flare-ups of chronic bronchitis: 3 g twice a day, for 3 days
  • Uncomplicated urinary tract infections in women, uncomplicated gonococcal urethritis in men: 3 g as minute treatment (possibly with 1 g of probenecid)

Administration mode

  • During the meal or with a little food
  • Swallow the capsules whole with a little water
